• Today the boys are 28 gestational weeks old!!!

• Both Carl and Larz were great monkeys today.  It looks like both boys will be coming off the ventilators in the next few days.  Carl could be a soon as tomorrow.  He is doing much better then before and has had a chance to be weaned down a lot from the ventilator.  So the next few days could be interesting.  Both Carl and Larz have been getting daily increases in their food, but only Carl has learned that what goes in needs to come out.  So we are anxious for Lars to learn this lesson soon.  Carl is starting to put on some baby fat in his cheeks, but the rest has not caught up so he kind of looks like a bull dog with mega jowls.  
  
  We still have not had a chance to hold Carl, but that day will come soon.

• The Dad has asked so many question about the oscillating ventilator that the respiratory therapist has started to copy pages out of the user manual for him.  Very cool piece of equipment.
